Founded by Dr. Laurant “Drelġé” Jolly (J1 / LJ) — a retired U.S. Army veteran and federal executive, author, professor, podcast host, and lifelong skater — the Portal began as a personal journey through trauma, healing, and purpose.

What started in 2020 with F.L.Y. Skates™ (First Love Yourself — Share Knowledge And Together Everyone Serves) during the height of the global pandemic has since evolved into a fully integrated empowerment brand.
